Bourke looks to future after repaying ‘nearly 100 per cent’ of his bank debt
Prominent Dublin publican Jay Bourke is “debt free” after several years of bank battles, he said last Friday.
Bourke was in the High Court in recent weeks over €1.1 million owed to ACC Bank, which has now been repaid. “I sold stuff, I borrowed, I have now paid back 100 per cent of that,” he said.
He said that he has repaid “nearly 100 per cent” of his circa €9 million owed to former Anglo Irish Bank, IBRC.
