Billionaire Luke Comer banned from horse racing for 3 years over doping offences

The ruling comes at the end of a lengthy investigation by the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB), which also included him being ordered to pay €750,000

Luke Comer has also been ordered to pay approximately €750,000 in fines and legal costs to IHRB.

Luke Comer, a billionaire property and racing tycoon, has been banned from all activity in horse racing for three years after 12 of his horses tested positive for anabolic steroids.

He has also been issued several fines as well as being ordered to pay 80 per cent of the IHRB’s legal costs. In total, this amounts to approximately €750,000.
