Assange gets court date for last-gasp bid to avoid extradition to US
WikiLeaks founder fears a sentence of 175 years if he is extradited on charges related to disclosing classified information
A date has been set for Julian Assange’s final appeal against being extradited to the United States, his supporters announced on Tuesday.
The case will be heard in London’s High Court on February 20 and 21.
Campaign groups immediately called for a protest outside the court and globally on those days.
