Aer Lingus has returned to profitability for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Announcing full year results for 2022 on Friday morning, the airline said it made an operating profit before once-off charges of €45 million last year – a significant improvement on the €338 million loss it racked up for its 2021 financial year.
