Former Aer Lingus pilots have launched a slew of High Court actions against the airline as a bitter row over pension rights deepens.

A total of 32 pilots issued High Court proceedings against the airline last week.

The dispute is understood to relate to a miscalculation of the pilots’ pension entitlements by the company which led to them being overpaid, sometimes for years.
