Canada's TD Securities to start bond trading business in Dublin

The company, part of Toronto-Dominion Bank, has chosen Ireland as its post-Brexit location

TD Securities, a division of Toronto-Dominion Bank which is one of Canada's largest lenders, has announced plans to establish a bond-trading business in Dublin as it chooses Ireland as its post-Brexit hub.

The company said the Dublin expansion was part of its growth strategy in Europe and would give it "the flexibility to meet the evolving needs of clients and respond to the changing business environment as a result ofBrexit".
