Residential construction is booming in the capital. It’s maybe not at the level people want, but output has grown rapidly in recent years.

Year on year, the number of homes built has increased. Adding to that, data would suggest the amount of housing under construction is also rising.

The growth has come amid large pent-up demand for all types of new housing across the private to-buy, rental, social and affordable housing sub-sectors of the market.
