Internet search giant Google has been left nursing multimillion euro losses following the collapse of Populis Ireland, a Dublin-headquartered firm once ranked as one of Europe’s fastest growing tech companies.

Creditors of Populis Ireland have been summoned to a meeting this week to appoint a liquidator to the business. Andrew O’Leary, an insolvency specialist with KPMG, is expected to be appointed liquidator at the meeting.
