Like Handel’s Messiah and Bach’s B Minor Mass, this landmark work by Claudio Monteverdi is always a great attraction. But so too is Harry Christophers’ medieval music choir The Sixteen, so it was no surprise that both together sent up the sold-out sign exceedingly early for this long-awaited concert in the NCH’s international series.
