Latest de Valera tome seems a biography too far

Do we really need another biography of Eamon de Valera? Ronan Fanning, Professor Emeritus of Modern History at University College Dublin, clearly thinks so.

Before the publication of Fanning’s latest book, A Will to Power, there were at least ten dedicated de Valera biographies published and a smaller number of full-length books dealing with specific aspects of his political career.
