Being a parent to small children involves having an endless series of obsessions foisted upon you. Your interest in the subject matter, or lack thereof, is immaterial. In the course of my son’s three-and-a-bit years on this planet, he has already given himself over to an impressive range of topics. These include, but are not limited to, farms, construction sites, trains, PAW Patrol and dinosaurs.
