The area off Clanbrassil Street in Dublin 8 known as Blackpitts has become hugely popular in recent years, as young buyers seek homes within easy walking distance of the south city centre.

Four years ago around €250,000 would have bought a two-bedroom terraced house in Blackpitts, but prices have soared in the interim and buyers will now need over €350,000 to secure one of these properties in good condition.
