Rathcoole house sells for €140,000

A 250-year-old Dublin house has been sold to a private investor for around €140,000.

Xavier McCaffrey, Ireland's newest firm of commercial property advisers, has sold Rathcoole House in south County Dublin for €140,000 to a private investor.

The two-storey detached building, which sits on 0.6 of an acre of land, was built by the Clinch family in 1750 and is listed as a protected structure.
