Hughes portrait by Plath could raise €29,000

The marriage of Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath was scarcely made in heaven, and it ended with her suicide in 1963.

A souvenir of the couple's happier times will be a star lot at Bonham's sale of the Roy Davids Collection, believed to be the first by an international auction house entirely devoted to portraits.
