Durkan Estates has received planning permission for a €178 million regeneration project in the Woolwich area of London.

The firm has been given the go-ahead to redevelop the former Royal Military Academy to include 334 houses, a cricket green and leisure facilities. Known as London’s Sandhurst, the Royal Military Academy at Woolwich was founded in April 1741 by warrant of King George II, and sits on a 21-acre site.
