Belfast firm in Swiss Rail deal

Belfast IT company BNE Electronics has completed a new electronic parking fine system for Swiss Rail.

Swiss Rail owns 600 car parks and issues more than 180,000 parking fines each year to illegally parked drivers.

The new system, developed by BNE in partnership with ISS Facility Services and Taxomex, will enable traffic wardens to print fine notices electronically, photograph offending vehicles and send information back to head office using specialised hand-held devices. According ...
