An Australian couple living in Co Westmeath are suing AIB for wrongly telling the Revenue Commissioners that they had a bogus non-resident account.

An Australian couple living in Co Westmeath are suing AIB for wrongly telling the Revenue Commissioners that they had a bogus non-resident account.

The couple have lived in Ireland for 17 years and are seeking naturalisation. It is understood that the Revenue Commissioners wrote to them in 2003 after an Australian pension was paid into an AIB account.
