A board member of An Taisce has resigned amid accusations that the state's environmental organisation was making proposals based on incorrect information.

In her letter of resignation, Valerin O'Shea claimed she was resigning as secretary of An Taisce due to arguments over the presentation of information to the board and to the council.

She added that she resented “the time wasted at all levels of the organisation'‘.
