Ulster Bank to sell thousands of home loans in latest disposal

It is understood that about 3,200 loans in the portfolio to be put up for sale are secured against primary dwelling homes, with the remaining 400 linked to buy-to-let properties

Ulster Bank is to sell a €900 million portfolio of mortgages as the lender bids to cut its troubled loans in half.

The bank has packaged up 3,600 mostly home loans in a portfolio called Project Deenish, which it expects to sell later this year.
