Joe O’Reilly hasn’t given up on his dream of a sky garden
It was supposed to be a mega- development for central Dublin, a €1 billion plan to transform the city’s main thoroughfare of O’Connell Street with a panoramic ‘park in the sky’ and shops, restaurants and homes. That was in 2008, and well, you know the rest: crash bang wallop went the market, and Joe O’Reilly’s dream turned into a Nama nightmare.
