A bitter and lengthy legal dispute between on-course bookies and Dundalk Stadium racecourse has seen the track’s profits fall by more than three quarters.

Profits last year slumped to just under €200,000 at the all-weather course, down from €843,000 as a result of setting aside nearly €667,000 to cover legal costs, newly filed accounts reveal.
