Pedagogy, the method and practice of teaching, is the focus of Ennis start-up Rahoo. Established in September 2017 by former secondary teacher Ciara McGuane, Rahoo takes its name from the Irish word “rathú”, meaning thrive.

The Co Clare company offers summer courses for teachers on topics ranging from teaching strategies to managing workload and handling pupils.
