Lone Star eyes sale of Irish home loans book

The Texas-based fund picked up the non-performing mortgages end of the INBS book when they were sold by the liquidators in 2014

Lone Star is eyeing a potential sale of the book of Irish home loans it bought from Irish Nationwide.

The US fund, which has been one of the main purchasers of distressed Irish debt, told bondholders in a note issued last week that it was “considering carrying out a portfolio sale in relation to the entire portfolio”.
