Is there no end to the Irish hotel bonanza?

Over the past few years, there has been a dramatic reversal in fortunes for the Irish hotel industry.

It has gone from being a financial basket case to being among the most dynamic and innovative sectors of the economy.

We have gone from having a chronic oversupply of hotel rooms a decade ago to a chronic undersupply at present.

There are many reasons for this including increased business tourism, debt restructuring, a reduced vat rate and the overall economic recovery. I have dealt with many of thesein previous columns.
