How I started: Lessons in entrepreneurship
Margaret Larkin took over as chief executive of Kora Healthcare, an Irish-owned pharmaceutical distributor employing 15 people in Swords, north Dublin, in 2012.
She succeeded Jim O’Daly, who had retired having established and led the business for 18 years. Kora distributes clinical nutrition and sexual health products, primarily in Ireland and Britain, where five of its staff are based. It also works with a manufacturer in Offaly to make and sell medical devices in Egypt, America, Canada and Saudi Arabia.
