Guinness descendant wants Iveagh Markets fixed up – or handed back

A member of the Guinness family, which built the historic Iveagh Markets in Dublin, expressed concern about the wrangles and delays that have led to it falling into disuse and dilapidation.

Patrick Guinness said the building on Francis Street in the Liberties was long-leased to the city for specific use as a public market and for the benefit of the local community.
