Gilmartin nets €18m in Trainline shares sale

She still holds onto stake valued at €40m

Businesswoman Clare Gilmartin has netted almost €18 million after cashing in part of her stake in an online train ticketing company.

Gilmartin, a 43-year-old University College Dublin graduate, is the chief executive of Trainline, whose shares began trading for the first time on the London Stock Exchange on Friday.
