Dublin Food Sales owner snaps up two more businesses

The owner of the food distribution company Dublin Food Sales has bought two businesses on the east coast, bringing the amount of cash he has spent on acquisitions in the sector to €3 million.

Richard Meehan, a former senior executive with Lidl who took over Dublin Food Sales in 2016, has acquired Scallans Food Service in Wexford, as well as Andrew Hepburn Food and Packaging in Waterford.
