Credit Suisse to move financial traders from London to Dublin

Credit Suisse is planning to relocate some of its trading operations to Dublin from London, The Sunday Business Post understands.

The Swiss bank is close to securing Central Bank regulatory approval for the switch, with a decision expected in June or July.

Once the bank receives the green light for a corporate banking licence, it could see about 200 jobs created in Ireland.

This was the first licence application of its kind that the Central Bank has received in years.
