Central Bank writing to lenders as part of probe into tracker mortgages

The Central Bank will write to lenders in the coming weeks detailing what will be required of them under a major probe into tracker mortgages.

“The Central Bank has commenced an industry wide examination on tracker-related issues, the aim of which is to ensure that all lenders have been treating their customers fairly,” a spokeswoman for the Central Bank said.
