First-half operating profit at C&C fell 9.5% due to challenging conditions in Ireland and Scotland
Drinks group C&C said first-half operating profit fell by 9.5 per cent to €62.6 million reflecting a challenging period in its core markets of Ireland and Scotland.
The company said many of the factors contributing to this were one-off or transitional, including poor weather, the transition to a brand-led wholesale model and legislative change in Scotland.
