1 Glenveagh

The housebuilder was one of the worst-performing Irish shares in 2017, crashing by more than 40 per cent and hitting an all-time low before Christmas. Glenveagh has assembled a huge landbank in Dublin, and has also been accumulating sites in Cork, Limerick and Galway. At a time when demand for housing far exceeds supply, it should be an easy time for builders to make money.
