RTÉ-style scandals to be unearthed in private and public sector, compliance body warns

Almost one third of financial compliance experts said they know of large organisations using ‘questionable’ corporate management practices

A large number of big public and private sector organisations have questionable governance and financial management controls in place, a new survey has said.

The research by the Compliance Institute, a body that represents compliance professionals in Ireland, has suggested further RTÉ-style governance scandals are yet to be unearthed in both private- and state-run entities.
