RTÉ shares Ryan Tubridy side-deal note with Dáil’s spending watchdog
A second note prepared by law firm Arthur Cox can be discussed by the PAC in public session
A major stand-off between RTÉ and the Dáil’s spending watchdog has ended as Montrose bosses have shared a previously withheld note relating to Ryan Tubridy’s contract.
It has been confirmed that the broadcaster has also provided a summary of the document, as requested by members of the Public Accounts Committee.
RTÉ bosses had originally refused to provide the original document, due to client-solicitor confidentiality concerns, much to the chagrin of committee members.
