Liquidators in Dolphin Trust-linked case near settlement
Approx 1,800 Irish people invested €107 million in German Property Group before it collapsed in 2020 amid accusations of reckless trading
The liquidators of a Dolphin Trust-linked court case are close to a settlement with most of their defendants, the High Court has heard.
Counsel for Shane McCarthy and Ian Barrett, liquidators of MUT 116, said that there had been progress following a recent mediation and his clients were nearing a settlement with most of the defendants.
He said this did not include Charles Smethurst, the founder of Dolphin Trust and a defendant in their case.
