An Irish whistleblower who is suing a Swedish telecoms company is at risk of losing the legal team that has represented him for the past six years.

Michael Power, a Waterford-born accountant, was hired to get the finances in order at a mobile phone operator which Telia, the Swedish telecoms giant, was planning to sell off.
