Domestic violence victims to get five days leave on full-pay under new rules

People will be entitled to five-days full paid leave if they have experienced domestic violence under new regulations this autumn

Victims of domestic violence will be entitled to leave with full pay under new regulations to be commenced this autumn.

Roderic O’Gorman, the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, has announced that domestic violence leave, which was part of the Work Life Balance Act introduced last year, will come with full income cover for the duration of the leave.
