British competition body says proposed merger of Vodafone and Three faces full probe
The Competition and Markets Authority said a full investigation would be warranted unless the firms can address its concerns
The proposed merger between mobile networks Vodafone and Three could lead to “customers facing higher prices and reduced quality”, the British competition watchdog has warned.
The £15 billion merger was first announced last summer and would create the UK’s largest mobile phone network.
