Albert Manifold of CRH was top paid chief executive last year

The 61-year-old received a total package worth over €12 million

Albert Manifold, chief executive of Cement Roadstone Holdings (CRH), was the highest paid Irish executive last year with a total package of more than €12 million.

The make up of the pay packet was more than €1.8 million base salary, €3.7 million bonus and almost 136,000 company shares worth nearly €6.8 million, bringing the total to €12,387,890.
