AI to take the lead in drawing up sales prospects

Salesforce says artificial intelligence is the future in its push to add generative AI to the sales pipeline

Salespeople won’t be out of a job, but the search for leads and even aspects of servicing their customers’ needs could soon be automated. That is the view of customer relationship management (CRM) software giant Salesforce, which has unveiled AI Cloud, its ‘trust-focused’ generative artificial intelligence (AI).

Patrick Stokes, Salesforce’s executive vice president and general manager for platform, said AI’s path to return on investment was clear.
