The sports body must address frequent violent incidents at matches – including children’s games – and the use of language which downplays the behaviour
In 2021, the GAA got €29.8 million in government funding. This was a massive increase on the €18.5 million the association received in 2020 thanks to the government’s Covid-19 resilience funding scheme. In 2019, it secured €12.4 million.
