Sport Ireland racks up €850,000 legal bill at Abbotstown campus

Sport Ireland has incurred more than €850,000 in legal costs related to the new national sports campus at Abbotstown in the last five years alone.

The National Sports Campus Development Authority (NSCDA), now a part of Sport Ireland, paid out almost €560,000 to meet “solicitor, counsel and related expenses relating to legal advices and disputes” between 2011 and 2015, documents showed.
