The SFA want a dedicated Minister for Small Business

The Small Firms Association (SFA) said small business will be essential toeconomic prosperity during the lifetime of the next government and has called for the introduction of a dedicated minister for the sector.

“Half of all private sector jobs are in small companies, so it is imperative that the small business sector is given it's own dedicated Minister in the new government, whose responsibility it should be to deliver tax equalisation for entrepreneurs, reduce business costs and improve competitiveness for our country," SFA director Patricia Callan said.
