College aims for university ranking rise

The investment by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in its new academic building in Dublin 2 is to reach €80 million in total.

The college has expanded the footprint of the building and added new features which will be completed next year after construction was delayed by the recession. The college is also investing €50 million over five years to expand its research activities.
