Intel are set to announce jobs losses in Ireland

Intel is preparing to announce next week that it will let go about 420 of the 5,500 people employed in its Irish operations.

The cuts are part of a global restructuring by Intel of its 100,000 strong workforce where it is seeking 12,000 redundancies in total from its operations worldwide.
