Taoiseach Enda Kenny has paid tribute to former Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Peter Barry, who died in Cork this morning aged 88.

A statement from the Taoiseach said Barry, who also served as deputy leader of Fine Gael, died peacefully surrounded by his family.
