Irish Water has morphed from being a relatively small issue into a potentially catastrophic betrayal. On its own, the sorry spectacle of the Sinn Fein tail wagging the Fianna Fail dog wagging the Fine Gael 'government' on water charges may not matter, but the broader and therefore greater significance is undeniable.
