Barrett firm to target funding for major developers

Real Estate Loan Management (RELM), a firm backed by developer Richard Barrett, plans to invade the space where pillar banks fear to tread, arranging funding for top tier property developers and investors.

It is headed by David Renwick and Paul Dowling, who were poached from AIB, where they had been tasked with resuscitating the state-controlled bank’s property lending arm.
