Immobility is hurting irish businesses

With fewer than half of all Irish businesses having websites optimised for mobile devices, firms are struggling to hold the gaze of potential customers

Connected’s survey of Irish retail and professional services businesses, conducted in association with Vodafone and Red C, found that only 46 per cent of firms have a site optimised for mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets.

David Curtin, chief executive of the IE domain registry (IEDR), said this reflected a lot of research his firm had seen and that his own body had only recently adapted.
