Web Summit at ‘maximum capacity’ in Lisbon, Cosgrave warns
More than 70,000 attendees are at Web Summit in the Portuguese capital this week
Paddy Cosgrave, Web Summit co-founder and chief executive, has expressed concerns for the future of the event in Lisbon as he said the tech-focused conference was at “maximum capacity.”
However, Cosgrave said he expected the event would return to Lisbon in 2023.
“I’m definitely concerned about the limits of the venue. I think we have to be very careful not to ever pack the venue beyond what would be a safe limit.,” Cosgrave said.
